Despite being criticized for its perceived misogyny and intense violence by certain viewers and critics, “Animal” managed to become one of the highest-grossing Hindi movies of 2023. This highlights the power of audience support and their ability to appreciate a film beyond its controversies.
“Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, hit theaters on December 1 and achieved a remarkable worldwide collection of over ₹900 crore.
At the success party of “Animal,” Ranbir Kapoor expressed his gratitude to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for giving him the opportunity to be a part of his vision. He thanked everyone for celebrating the film’s success, emphasizing that the love, success, and box office numbers prove that nothing surpasses the love for movies. The event was attended by Sandeep, along with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Siddhant Karnick.

Triptii, who played the character of Zoya, Rannvijay’s mistress in “Animal,” shared similar sentiments to Bobby Deol. Triptii sincerely thanked Sandeep for his trust and support throughout the film.
Anil Kapoor referred to Rashmika as the “lucky mascot” of the film. He emphasized that while the film is ultimately the director’s vision, Rashmika has been a fortunate charm, bringing luck to both “Pushpa” and now “Animal.” Anil Kapoor also expressed his belief that this film would be a life-changing experience for Bobby.
