Shweta’s appeal to PM Modi.
On Thursday, Shweta shared on her Instagram, reaching out to PM Modi, expressing, “This marks the 45th month since my brother’s passing, and we are still in the dark about the CBI investigation progress. I urge your involvement as a family and a nation to address the lingering questions in this case.”

Last year, Shweta penned a book called “Pain: A Portal To Enlightenment,” where she shared the emotional journey and trauma she experienced.

Last month, the Bombay High Court canceled the Look Out Circulars (LOCs) issued against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother, and father by the CBI regarding the investigation into Sushant’s passing. The CBI asked the court to delay the order’s implementation for four weeks to allow time for an appeal to the Supreme Court. Despite this, the High Court bench declined to postpone its decision.
When Sushant’s father filed a complaint with the Bihar police in July 2020, alleging that Rhea Chakraborty and her family were involved in his son’s passing, the case was initially investigated by the Mumbai police as an Accidental Death Report. Later, the Central Bureau of Investigation took over the case and has been conducting an investigation since then.
