They shared the happy news through an Instagram post, revealing that their baby is due in September 2024. Despite being asked about starting a family, the couple has always prioritised their careers. However, they have expressed their love for kids and their desire to embrace parenthood when the time is right.

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Deepika mentioned her backup plans if she hadn’t pursued acting. She shared that she would have loved to have three little kids, happily running around while she continued to work and take them to shoots.
